MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- Emergency crews and Con Edison were on the scene for hours Saturday night after a gas leak at the Sarah Neuman Nursing Home on Palmer Avenue in Mamaroneck.

The leak, which was reported around 6:45 p.m., was discovered by a 17-year-old who was visiting his grandfather and smelled the gas and informing a nurse, according to News 12.

The leak, which occurred due to a faulty boiler, was contained and no injuries were reported, according to News 12.
