A Westchester resident and member of the SUNY Cobleskill men's soccer team was killed in a crash involving six students from the college on Interstate 88 early Saturday morning, according to the college.

Alcohol was not a contributing factor to the accident, police said. The crash investigation is ongoing.
The five other occupants of the vehicle were transported to Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown with non-life threatening injuries. The operator of the second, uninvolved vehicle, was not injured, state police said.
