MAMARONECK, N.Y. - Virginia Forte, a lifetime Mamaroneck resident, died Sept. 22. She was 89.
Forte was born Jan. 22, 1925, to Mitchell and Viola (Rigano) Lanza.
Forte is survived by her children, Thomas Forte III (Joann), Ronnie Forte (Rose) and Barbara Marcello (Nick); brother, Mitchell Lanza (Barbara); brother-in-law, Dan Pace; and seven grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Forte; and sister, Mildred Pace.
Calling hours are Thursday, Sept. 25 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 767 E. Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck, NY 10543. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 26 at St. Vito's Church, followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
