MAMARONECK, N.Y. - Salvatore Lucchese of Mamaroneck died Dec. 8. He was 78.
Lucchese was born Feb. 28, 1936, in Brooklyn, to Joseph and Margaret Lucchese. He worked in construction, as a concrete superintendent, for WDF. He was a member of the Mamaroneck Elks, the Knights of Columbus and the Giovanni Caboto Club.
Lucchese is survived by his wife, Antoinette; sons, Joseph and Philip Lucchese; and stepson, Anthony DiMaggio (Carolyn); seven grandchildren; and brother, Tony Lucchese.
Calling hours are Friday, Dec. 12 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 767 E. Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck - 914-698-5968. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 13 at St. Gregory the Great RC Church followed by interment at St. Charles Cemetery on Long Island.
