MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- Edward "Bud" Jones of Mamaroneck passed away Sunday, Jan. 4, surrounded by his loving family. He was 87.
Bud was born in Harrison on Dec. 15, 1927. He proudly served his country in the Merchant Marines and later worked for J. Rigano Plumbing in Mamaroneck. He was a member and former exalted ruler of the Elks Lodge 756 in New Rochelle. He is survived by his cherished wife of 42 years, Catherine (nee Carimalis); and loving children, Thomas Jones, Doreen Barone (Robert), Bruce Rivers (Marie), Robert Jones, Lee Reynolds (Bruce) and Kenneth Jones (Eileen). He is also survived by his 11 adoring grandchildren and his brother, Robert Jones.
To honor Bud's life, family and friends will gather on Wednesday, Jan. 7, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 767 E, Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck, where a service will commence on Thursday, Jan. 8, at noon, followed by interment at Greenwood Union Cemetery.
