Anthony A. Cristina, 84, Of Mamaroneck

MAMARONECK, N.Y. - Anthony A. Cristina of Mamaroneck died Nov. 9. He was 84.

Cristina was born Jan. 19, 1930, to Paul Cristina and Marie DiStefano Cristina. He graduated from Cardinal Hayes High School in 1948. He graduated from Manhattan College and got his Professional Engineering Degree from New York University. He worked for 40 years for Sperry Corporation; which today is known as Unisys. He was a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).

After he retired, he volunteered at Sarah Neuman Nursing Home where he designed their computer program for volunteers and taught math at Westchester Community College. He was a member of "Scarsdale Ski Club", Mogul Meister Ski Club, and after reaching 65, "Over the Hill Ski Club". He was a member of the Scarsdale Elks Lodge and the Siamo Italian Club.

Cristina is survived by his wife, Louise (DiBerardino); children, Paul Cristina, Michael Cristina and Dr. Patricia Cristina Cassidy (Kyran); and two grandsons.

Calling hours are Friday, Nov. 14 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 767 E. Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck. 914-698-5968. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15 at Most Holy Trinity RC Church followed by interment at St. Mary's Cemetery.
