MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- An out-of-service CSX locomotive derailed early Wednesday on a rail siding in Mamaroneck, officials said.
The derailment took place around 3 a.m.
It was not on Metro-North’s tracks and had no impact on commuter train service, according to Aaron Donovan, an MTA spokesman.
There were no injuries, Donovan said.
The CSX locomotive reportedly was on private track in an Industrial area near 700 Waverly in Mamaroneck.
