MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- The Village of Mamaroneck Police Department issued a press release Friday afternoon revealing pictures of the man who robbed the Chase Bank on the corner of Mamaroneck Avenue and Boston Post Road earlier in the day.
The suspect entered the building at 101 Mamaroneck Ave. at about 12:31 and presented a note to the teller demanding money. The unarmed suspect fled the bank on foot before local and state police arrived, according to a Village of Mamaroneck Police Department press release.
There were no injuries, according to the same press release.
Police secured the bank and established a perimeter, blocking off traffic along Mamaroneck Avenue between Boston Post Road and Prospect Avenue for most of the afternoon.
