The crews were joined by members of the village police department and Mayor Norman Rosenblum.
Rosenblum urged residents with hurricane-related damage to apply for federal aid as soon as possible. Village residents are eligible for federal aid after President Barack Obama signed a disaster declaration.

Some roads remain closed because power lines are down and waiting for crews to clear them, the mayor said. Village DPW crews "will continue to work throughout the weekend to clear the roads of brush and storm debris," Rosenblum said.
Mamaroneck is continuing to work with Con Edison to restore power to the village, Rosenblum said, adding that approximately seventy-five percent of the village had power by Saturday afternoon.
The majority of outages are in Orienta and Rye Neck, he said.
F.E. Bellow Elementary School, Mamaroneck High School, town offices and Westchester Joint Water Works headquarters remain the top priorities for restoring power, Rosenblum said.
Rye Neck High had power restored Friday evening around 7 p.m. Phones lines at Village Hall and the Police Station were also back online Friday night.
A warming center was opened up at the VFW building, 1288 Boston Post Road, Friday night and the Mamaroneck Library is open as well.
Rosenblum thanked the "village fire department, DPW, and police department for the excellence they have demonstrated in responding to this emergency."
