MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- A town woman, 46, reported someone entered her Birch Road home and stole $10,100 worth of property while she was asleep during the overnight hours of Feb. 9, said Lt. Robert Koziak of the Town of Mamaroneck Police Department. The unknown suspect reportedly entered the home between 1 a.m. and 7 a.m. through a rear door, which the victim reported was unlocked. The resident woke up and discovered several items missing, including: a Mac desktop computer worth $2,500, a Sony VIAO Laptop worth $2,000, a Panasonic 100A DUX Camera worth $4,500, a Nikon 500 Camera worth $1,100 and $1,000 in cash. The second-degree burglary is under investigation.
