MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- Marissa Masciola helped four-year-old Jacob decorate a cup cake Friday at Chocolations, which is celebrating its one-year-anniversary at its new location with a variety of promotions.
One promotion, which ran from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, allowed Jacob to decorate and take home his cup cake for free, with any other purchase. While different promotions may have attracted new business, the friendly atmosphere, as well as the variety of truffles, keeps Michelle Rawlick coming back.
"I followed them from the Mamaroneck Avenue location," Rawlick said. "They're extremely accommodating
Rawlick, a White Plains resident, ordered an assortment of truffles from Chocolations for her parents 50th anniversary and requested they list the type and ingredients in each. They agreed, she said.
Rawlick likes visiting Mamaroneck for the family-owned businesses, among them is Chocolations.
"I like the non-chain businesses, the family businesses," Rawlick said.
Saturday, Chocolation's No. 1 Chocolate Pops will be free with any purchase. They will also have chocolate fondue and, for every $25 purchase, customers will get a $5 gift card.
