LARCHMONT, N.Y. - Longtime Larchmont resident, Paul F. Wilson died Feb. 20 in New Rochelle at the age of 91.
Born in Batavia, N.Y., he graduated from Manhattan College and served in the Navy as a lieutenant during World War II. Wilson, an avid hiker, was an active member of the Westchester Trails Associations. He was also a lifelong opera buff and contributing editor of The New York Walk Book.
He is survived by his wife Mary Elizabeth, his daughters Irene Amy, Mary (Jack) Humphrey and Anne (Fred) Delis, his sons Paul Wilson, Richard (Pat) Wilson and John (Marie) Wilson, seven grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held at John J. Fox Funeral Home in Larchmont. A funeral mass will begin at 10 a.m. on Thursday at Sts. John & Paul Church in Larchmont. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne.
