MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- Expect a variety of food trucks, local businesses, area artisans and community organizations at the Mamaroneck Food Truck & Makers Market on Sunday, April 30.
The free street festival kicks off National Small Business Week, which runs from the 30th through Saturday, May 6.
Among the food vendors on hand: Walter's Hot Dogs, Longford's Own-Made Ice Cream, HAPA Asian-fusion, and Boxcar Cantina.
The Bott Shoppe (Mamaroneck), Artisan NR Artist Collective (New Rochelle), Yapa Artisanal Collections (White Plains), Grass & Clovers (Larchmont), Spook Bunny Deliriums’ art prints (Dobbs Ferry), Hillary Short Photography (Rye), Dennis Cucinella’s (Rye-Neck) wooden creations, and Half Pak Designs will also be on hand as will Save the Sound, Eileen Fisher Leadership Institute and Mamaroneck High Schools’ IMPRESSIONS magazine.
Art activities will be provided in part by, M.A.D.E. (Mamaroneck), and silkscreen studio Mesh Studios (New Rochelle). Expect kid-friendly glitter tattoos and face painting by A Party With A Plan (Hartsdale) and other art and craft activities.
Music and entertainment will be provided by Mamaroneck-based School of Rock and Artistree Performing Arts schools. The Emelin Theatre will also be in attendance, giving away movie/event tickets.
The family-friendly event will be held at Fayette Avenue between Fenimore Road and Ogden Avenue, in between Vincent Service Station and Majestic Kitchens & Baths from noon to 5 p.m.
