Due to the diversity of the Hudson River and Long Island Sound, more than 300 species of our fine-feathered friends can be seen in the county, says Anne Swain, the society’s executive director.
Swain is scheduled to give a talk on Westchester’s avian population at a meeting of the Garden Club of Larchmont from 1-3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 1.
The meeting will be held at the senior center at the VFW’s David Potts Jr. Post 1156, 1288 Boston Post Road, Larchmont.
