The lecture series will be free on Monday mornings at 10 a.m. starting Oct. 17 when Ferris Olin presents a program entitled “Consuming Passions: Some Women Art Collectors in Post WWII America.”
Presentations to follow include Siona Wilson on Oct. 24, artist Alessandra Expósito on Oct. 31 and art historian Saisha Grayson on the work of Wangechi Mutu on Nov. 7.
Other events as part of this program include Artist Margaret Lee discussing her personal work and inspirations on Wednesday, Oct. 26 at 6 p.m. with a wine and cheese reception. Register in advance at this link. On Nov. 2, 9, 16 and 23 at 10:30 a.m. the Bruce Museum will also presents the PBS film series Art21 which explores contemporary art in various cities.
