Classes are scheduled from 2-4 p.m. Thursdays from Sept. 19 through Oct. 24.
The series, called “Discovering Basic Visual Elements of Communication through Drawing and Painting,” seeks to embellish on the artistic concepts of line, shape, texture, contract, color, space and volume; the basic elements of composition and communication in the artistic process.
During the six-week course, students will use the foundations taught during the classes to create their own art. At the close of the series, the student’s art will be placed on display in the library for public viewing.
