Amazon Discontinuing Fresh Grocery Delivery Service In Select NY Zip Codes

Amazon will be discontinuing its AmazonFresh grocery delivery service “to select ZIP codes” around the tristate area and the country.

Affected customers in as many as nine states, including New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, have reported that they've received notifications after placing new online delivery orders that AmazonFresh would be discontinuing service in their areas on Dec. 1.

Amazon confirmed on Friday it was ending service in “select ZIP codes” but said AmazonFresh continues to serve customers in major markets across the U.S." It did not disclose the reason for the move.
