A Favorite Larchmont Boutique Is Back -- In Pop-Up Form

A longtime Larchmont store owner has opened a pop-up shop just in time for the holidays.

Ellie Zieminski, the owner of Love Bella, which burnt down in a Palmer Avenue fire last November, is back --- albeit for a short time -- with a new holiday boutique.

The store, at 148 Larchmont Avenue in Larchmont (next to Auray Gourmet), features women's clothes and accessories -- think sweaters, scarves and gobs of jewelry.

It opened Tuesday, Nov. 7 and will be in its temporary location until Thursday, Dec. 30. Hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

Zieminski, a Stamford resident, said she's been doing trunk shows around Westchester with many of her previous clients and saw a need for a holiday boutique.

Her ultimate goal, however, is to showcase her curated wares online. She said the brick and mortar mom and pop shop model is getting tougher and tougher, which is why she's been spending so much time organizing an online shop.

Her website, www.iadorecouture.com, will feature accessories only and will launch Black Friday (Nov. 24). The website will offer a huge selection of fast fashion (meaning up-to-the-minute trends). Zieminski is personally working with Manhattan designers to create a line that is affordable and trendy.
