Lewisboro Copes With First Snowfall of the Season

LEWISBORO, N.Y. – Snow continued to fall on Lewisboro Saturday with the National Weather Service predicting three to six inches by the afternoon. The Lewisboro Highway Department reported no major issues.

“Everything is going fine,” said Highway Superintendent Peter Ripperger. “Everybody showed up this morning and we are all out clearing the roads. We’re doing OK. Thank God it’s a Saturday.”

New York State Electric and Gas reported no power outages by midday.
