Body Found In Water Along Sprain Brook Parkway In Westchester Authorities are investigating after a body was discovered in a waterway next to the Sprain Brook Parkway in Westchester. The body was spotted on Wednesday, Feb. 19 in the Grassy Sprain Brook in Yonkers near the Kimball Avenue overpass alongside the Sprain Brook Parkway, Yonkers Police Sgt. Robert Spink said on Thursday, Feb. 20.  Upon arrival, officers found the deceased adult man in the water. School Bus Catches On Fire In Westchester With Driver Aboard Firefighters rushed to extinguish an afternoon school bus fire in Westchester. Only A Drill: 'Active Threat' Training Held At University In Westchester With many students home for the holidays, several emergency agencies from across Westchester were able to hold active threat training on a university campus in the county.  The training exercise was held at New Rochelle's Iona University on Monday, Dec. 23, according to the Yonkers Police Department.  The "realistic simulation" allowed officers to "hone their skills and practice interagency coordination in a critical incident," the department said on social media.
