Woman Charged With Falsely Reporting Shooting In Northern Westchester A woman has been arrested and is facing charges after she allegedly falsified a report of a shooting in Northern Westchester, police say. On Friday, Feb. 1 around 11:!5 p.m., New York State Police responded to Lexington Avenue in the town of Cortlandt on the report of a domestic dispute. The caller claimed that the suspect was holding her hostage and actively shooting at her. After further investigation by the State Police, Westchester Police Department, Yorktown Police Department and K9 units, it was determined that no shots had been fired in the area.
