A Putnam County Sheriff Deputy observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation on State Route 312 in the Town of Southeast on Friday, March 1 around 7:30 p.m. The deputy pulled the vehicle over and determined through a computer check that the driver, 31-year-old Courtney Campbell, had an active arrest warrant out of Danbury. Putnam County Sheriff Deputies responded to State Route 312 in the Town of Southeast on Thursday, Feb. 21 on the report of a two-car accident. Further investigation revealed that one of the drivers involved in the crash, 19-year-old Dylan Stefanelli of New Fairfield, was allegedly impaired by drugs, police say.
