Driver Freed From Flipped Car On Busy Westchester Road A driver had to be freed from their vehicle after it flipped and landed on a sidewalk alongside a busy Westchester road.  The crash happened on Friday, Nov. 1, when a vehicle crashed on South Broadway (Route 9) in the village of Irvington-on-Hudson and became wedged between a telephone pole and a wall, according to Irvington EMS. Thanks to teamwork between the village's police, fire, and EMS departments, the driver was successfully taken out of the wrecked car and placed into medical care using the Jaws of Life, fire officials said. New Eatery Set In Train Car Off To Strong Start In Westchester A new restaurant in Westchester set in a mid-20th century train car will soon hold an official grand opening ceremony to celebrate its promising beginning.  A ribbon cutting ceremony for Club Car Grille, located in Irvington-on-Hudson at 6 South Broadway (Route 9) will be thrown on Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 5 p.m. by the Rivertowns Chamber of Commerce.  The ceremony will celebrate the new eatery, which originally opened on Thursday, May 16, and has already made its mark on patrons.  The restaurant is located inside a mid-1900s train car, and it has a comfortable dining room and…
