Sheriff: Man Caught With Cocaine, Suboxone, Marijuana After Expired Registration Stop In Putnam A traffic stop in the area led to criminal charges for a man who was found in possession of drugs, the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office announced. Putnam County Sheriff Deputy Shane Rossiter was on patrol at approximately 8:40 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 20 near the intersection of Route 6 and Simpson Road in Carmel when he pulled over a 2008 Dodge Charger for an expired inspection on his vehicle.
