Expect Delays: Merritt Parkway Lane Closures To Last For Weeks There will be lane closures for several weeks on the Merritt Parkway in Fairfield County as contracting crews continue infrastructure improvement efforts in the area. The Connecticut State Department of Transportation announced that there will be daily right lane closures northbound on the parkway between exit 42 in Westport and the North Avenue overpass.
