Duo Steals Personal Belongings From Parked BMW At Residence In Westchester Authorities in Westchester are warning residents to lock their cars after two suspects were able to get into a parked vehicle and steal personal items. The theft happened at a residence in Rye on Sunday, May 5 around 2 a.m., when two unknown people entered an unlocked BMW and stole personal belongings, according to the City of Rye Police.  A video of the theft captured by a surveillance camera was later posted by the department on social media, where police urged residents to take precautions to avoid being victimized.
