Covid-19: New Student Tests Positive In Westchester School, Classmates, Staffers Quarantined Another student at a Westchester school has tested positive for COVID-19, forcing some classmates and staff members into a precautionary quarantine. After announcing that a student in the high school community has tested positive for the virus, Bronxville Schools Superintendent Roy Montesano announced on Friday, Nov. 20 that an elementary school student has a confirmed case of COVID-19. Former Westchester Community College President Joseph Hankin Dies Former Westchester Community College President Joseph N. Hankin, who was one of the nation’s longest-serving community college presidents has died at the age of 78. The college announced Thursday, Jan. 17 that Hankin died on Wednesday, Jan. 16. He first took over at the college in 1971 and served 42 years at the helm until his retirement in 2013.
