Cooney was raised in Ormond Beach, FL, and Creek Locks, NY. She was the daughter of William and Elizabeth MacDonald. Yorktown HS Student-Athletes Sign College Letters Of Intent Six Yorktown High School student-athletes signed letters of intent recently to play sports at their chosen colleges, bringing the total number of athletes from Yorktown who will play on Division I and II teams next year to 18.
