Donald Trump's months-long threats of implementing tariffs on other countries are apparently hours away from becoming a reality.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt announced at a news conference Friday afternoon, Jan. 31 that both of America's neighbors, Canada and Mexico, will be slapped with 25 percent tariffs on goods. A third nation, China, America's main economic rival, will be hit with 10 percent tariffs.
They take effect on Saturday, Feb. 1, and are "for the illegal fentanyl that they have sourced and allowed to distribute into our country,” Leavitt said.

Red Lobster plans to close more restaurants just weeks after it filed for bankruptcy, according to a new report.
In a bankruptcy petition filed on Sunday, May 19, the company listed assets of $1 billion and liabilities of $10 billion.

Fast-casual seafood restaurant Red Lobster has abruptly closed dozens of its restaurants.
The company is also considering filing for bankruptcy protection, according to a CNN report.
