Owner Of New Greek Eatery At Former Friendly's Site In Yorktown Is Experienced Restaurateur Rui Cunha, who has been a restaurateur in Westchester for about 15 years, opened up Pappous Greek Kitchen in July at what used to be a Friendly’s restaurant. Serving up authentic greek fare, fresh salads and gyro and Pappous style sandwiches, this establishment has something everyone can enjoy. Yorktown was chosen carefully as the the restaurant’s locale. As Cunha’s hometown, he knows the area well and said that he felt “a tremendous need for a new restaurant in Yorktown.” Cunha also said that while he deliberately kept the menu small upon opening, he hopes to expand the restaurant’s offer…
