John Jay Quarterback Shows His Skills

Tyler Keech earned an invitation to the first MSG Varsity Tri-State Quarterback Showdown in June. Officials chose him as one of the 25 best quarterbacks from Westchester, Long Island, New Jersey and Connecticut. Keech had the chance to meet former New York Giants Phil Simms and Amani Toomer.

Lacrosse Shines In Lewisboro

It was a good year for lacrosse in Lewisboro. John Jay defeated rival Somers to reach the Section 1 Class B championship, while both the boys’ and girls’ teams at the Harvey School reached the postseason. The boys’ team won its second straight Hudson Valley Athletic League Championship and finished 16-1.

A Local All-American John Jay girls’ lacrosse star Lauren Murray was one of seven Section 1 players who earned a selection as a U.S. Girls High School All-American.
