Top finishers in each category received an engraved silver tankard, in honor of a former St. John’s Church building that served as a Colonial-era pub, the “Church Tavern.”

Racers and supporters celebrated at the finish line with a free barbecue in the St. John’s churchyard, featuring a kids’ play area and live music provided by Quadrasaurus.

“We are thrilled that so many people in our community came out this Labor Day, both on the course and off, to once again make the Church Tavern Biathlon a success,” said Brian Stempel, race director and St. John’s Vestry member. “We are especially grateful to participants, spectators and sponsors for helping us honor St. John’s 250-year history while supporting worthy causes - Carpenter’s Kids, The Wounded Warrior Project, and The Community Center of Northern Westchester.”
