John Jay Volleyball To Play In Sectional Final

LEWISBORO, N.Y. -- John Jay High School's girls volleyball team defeated defending Class A Section 1 champions Walter Panas in a 3-set sweep on Wednesday, Oct. 30 to advance to the section final, according to LoHud.com.

The schools had split their previous two meetings earlier in the season, but John Jay jumped out early en route to a 28-26, 25-15, 25-19 win, LoHud.com reported.

John Jay will move on to face top-seeded Yorktown in the sectional finals at Hendrick Hudson on Friday, Nov. 1 at 5:30 p.m.
