Harvey Boys Lacrosse Streaks Into Postseason

KATONAH, N.Y. — The Harvey School's boys lacrosse team is peaking as it moves toward the end of the regular season and into the upcoming Hudson Valley Athletic League playoffs.

Led by its seniors, who were honored on the field before Harvey's final regular-season home game, the Cavaliers outscored Masters, 16-4, after opening with a 14-0 first-half surge.

Senior Mitch Bowman scored four times and had assists on two goals, senior Brandon Hickey added two goals and sophomore Andrew Schwartz also scored twice. Seniors scored 10 of the 16 goals.

The Cavaliers' defense held Masters to eight shots on goal, and goalies Alex Trister and James Underwood each had two saves in goal.

Harvey will play its final two games of the season on the road, against Forman on Wednesday and South Kent on Friday before opening the league playoffs on Monday.
