LEWISBORO, N.Y. State police arrested and charged a Katonah teenager with misdemeanor driving while intoxicated early Sunday morning.
During a traffic stop on Captain Lawrence Drive in Lewisboro, at around 1:20 a.m., police said they discovered the driver to be intoxicated. Troopers say a Breathalyzer test revealed he had a blood alcohol content of 0.11 percent.
Parker was charged with DWI and then released into the custody of his father. He is due back in Lewisboro court Aug. 20
The following items were reported by the Lewisboro police:
On July 31, Lewisboro police were called to an Old Post Road residence in South Salem for a property damage report. The homeowner told officers someone had crashed their vehicle into his stone wall and damaged it. Police said about 50 feet of the wall was damaged and they discovered small parts of the vehicle in the area. Damage to the wall was estimated to be approximately $2,000.
Police were dispatched to Winterberry Circle in Cross River on July 31, on a harassment call. The homeowner explained she had a sick daughter who needed 24-hour medical care, but recently had to fire one of her nurses. Police say the nurse returned to the residence to retrieve some personal items while the homeowner was out and told the new nurse she planned to get even with the homeowner for firing her. Police contacted the nurse and advised her to stay away from the home, which she said she would.
On Aug. 1, police investigated the theft of tools and building supplies from West Lake home in South Salem. The homeowner told police someone entered his garage and removed a leaf blower and a generator. The investigation is pending.
Police investigated another reported larceny Friday. Officers were called to a South Salem home on Lockwood Road where the homeowner told them someone had removed 12 decorative solar lights from his front walkway. Cost of the items was $150.
