LEWISBORO, N.Y. – In the wake of Saturday’s snowstorm, Lewisboro officials have set up warming and supply stations throughout the town.

Residents can go to following locations to get warm, charge cell phones and laptops, and pick up bottled water, non-potable water for things like flushing toilets, and dry ice (when available):

The Lewisboro Town House, 11 Spring St., South Salem

The South Salem Firehouse, 1190 Route 35

The Vista Firehouse, 377 Smith Ridge Road, South Salem

The Goldens Bridge Firehouse, 254 Waccabuc Road

The Goldens Bridge Community Center,  65 Old Bedford Road

There are also restroom facilities available at these crisis centers.

Town Supervisor Charles Duffy noted that a state of emergency is still in effect for the town and urges residents to call New York State Gas and Electric at 800-572-1131 to register or re-register power outages. He said the company’s website may report a home as connected when it is not.

Duffy can be reached at 914-763-3151 for help during this crisis.
