Vista Fire Dept. Responds to Five Calls This Week

VISTA, N.Y. – The Vista Fire Department responded to five calls this past week ranging from ambulance requests to an auto accident. The fire log for the week of Jan. 23 through Jan. 29 follows:

JAN. 23

The department received a request for an ambulance at a residence on Audubon Road at 1:54 p.m. The patient was transported to Norwalk Hospital.

JAN. 26

At 6:54 p.m., the department received a request for an ambulance at a residence on Lakeside Drive. The patient refused to be taken to a hospital.

At 9:10 p.m., the department received a request for an ambulance at a residence on Old Church Lane. The patient refused to be taken to a hospital.

JAN. 27

The company was called to Smithridge Road at 11:23 a.m. on the report of a motor vehicle accident near Shady Lane. First responders arrived and transported the driver to Norwalk Hospital.

JAN 29

The company received a request at 8:10 p.m. for an ambulance at a residence on Lockwood Road. The patient was taken to Northern Westchester Hospital.
