CROSS RIVER, N.Y. – The Gallery in the Park, located at the entrance to the Ward Pound Ridge Reservation, is hosting an exhibition by artist GG Kopilak.

Working mainly with oils, Kopilak draws on the influence of impressionist landscapes she has viewed during her travels in Europe. She attempts to capture the spirit of a particular place with her own landscape painting.

The exhibit runs through Jan. 2. The gallery is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free. Parking is $4 for those with a Westchester County park pass and $8 for all others.

The Gallery in the Park hosts three exhibitions each year by established artists. In addition, there's also the adjacent WPA gallery, opened in January 2008, which features rotating five-week exhibits from more local and up-and-coming artists.
