Frei-Pearson for Assembly

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – The Bedford Town Democratic Committee and Bedford Council Member Chris Burdick have both announced their endorsement of Jeremiah Frei-Pearson, who is seeking the Democratic nomination to run for the New York State Assembly’s 89th district. The district includes the towns of Bedford, Lewisboro, Mount Kisco, New Castle, North Castle, North Salem, Pound Ridge, Harrison and part of the City of White Plains.

“Jeremiah represents the type of bold leadership that we need in Albany to break through the dysfunction which has plagued the state for decades,” Burdick said.

Bruce Yablon, chair of the Bedford Town Democratic Committee, noted there were several “high-caliber Democratic candidates” seeking the nomination this election season, but said what he felt set Frei-Pearson apart was his work experience and background.

“They exemplify the Democratic values and principles he will fight for and protect every day,” Yablon said.

Frei-Pearson said he was honored to receive the endorsements of both Burdick and the Bedford Town Democratic Committee.

“Councilman Burdick is a public servant of the utmost integrity and the committee is a sterling example of grassroots

Democratic politics at its core,” Frei-Pearson said. “I am eager to begin working with Councilman Burdick…and with Chairman Yablon and the Bedford Town Democratic Committee to make sure Westchester enjoys Democratic victories in November.”
