South Salem's Duffield Honored this Wednesday

SOUTH SALEM, N.Y. - Deputy Fire Chief Vincent Richard Duffield, Sr., of South Salem, died Nov. 6 at Northern Westchester Hospital Center of Mount Kisco at the age of 65.

He was son of the late Irving and Jennie Duffield. Most recently serving as Deputy Chief of the Pound Ridge Fire Department, Duffield was a member of the department for 47 years. He previously ascended to the rank of Fire Chief and was a member of the Westchester County Parade Judges Association.

He is survived by his wife Nancy Duffield, his daughter Kimberly, his son Vincent, Jr. with his wife Dee, his sister Lorelai Floughton and a granddaughter. Duffield was predeceased by his brother Michael Duffield.

Calling hours are from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday at Clark Associates Funeral Home in Katonah. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home followed by burial at Pound Ridge Cemetery.
