KATONAH, N.Y. -- The Community Center of Northern Westchester is celebrating its 21st birthday by offering 21 ways you can help the community.
The ideas include:
-- Organize a food drive in your neighborhood, workplace, club or even in front of your local supermarket.
-- Share your summer harvest: We welcome donations of fresh produce from your garden or local farm.
-- Share some of your cash: A donation of $75 fills a shopping cart with food for a family in need. It's easy to donate online.
-- Help local kids get off to a great start at school this September. We are collecting new school supplies now. Click here for a full list.
-- Clean out your closets. We are happy to accept your clean, in-season duds and pass them along to those who need them.
