Summer Fun Awaits All At South Salem Fire Department's Carnival

LEWISBORO, N.Y. -- The South Salem Fire Department’s summer carnival is well under way with rides, games, food and entertainment.

The annual event takes place on the grounds of the department’s headquarters, located at 1190 Route 35 in South Salem.

It started Wednesday with a parade and runs through this Saturday, Aug. 13.

The hours are: 6-10 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and 5-10 p.m. Saturday.

A raffle drawing will be held Saturday at 10 p.m. for $3,000 in prizes.

Wristbands cost $25 and will allow carnival-goers to go on all the rides for one price.
