Adults and children alike will have several things to do this weekend in the Lewisboro/Pound Ridge area. Kids can use their imagination as they build LEGO creations at the Lewisboro Library or experience the Renaissance world at the Caramoor Center. Music lovers can purchase tickets to Brooklyn Riders Caramoor debut Friday night and visit North Star restaurant on Sunday for food and live music.

Brooklyn Rider: 8 p.m. Brooklyn Rider, a genre-defying string quartet with a unique performance style, will be making its Caramoor debut. The group has received popular and critical acclaim across the musical spectrumfrom classical, to world music, to rock. NPR credits Brooklyn Rider with "recreating the 300-year-old form of string quartet as a vital and creative 21st-century ensemble." The show will be held in the Spanish Courtyard and attendees are advised to arrive 30 minutes prior to concert time. Reserved tickets range from $30 to $40, while general admission is $20. Wolves of North America: 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Learn about the mythology, biology and ecology of wolf families and discover why spring is a special time for packs in North America. Whether living in the tundra or the desert, the wolf families are out searching for prey as they celebrate the births of this years pups. Guests will have the opportunity to visit Ambassador wolves Alawa and Zephyr, as well as the WCCs critically endangered red wolves and Mexican gray wolves. Live Music at Marielas: 8 p.m. Dave Keyes will be performing at Marielas Wine Bar. Keyes is a keyboardist and band leader who has played with some of the most important figures of blues, roots and folk music in New York. Over the last decade Keyes has worked in many roles as a band leader and conductor for both Broadway shows and television, most notably conducting over 600 performances during the six-year run of the Grammy winning Broadway musical Smokey Joes Cafe. A Day in the Renaissance: 12:30 to 5 p.m. This program will take your family to 16th century Italy and England with songs and dances, street theater, music, masks and banners, and a few words from Shakespeare. Those attending are invited to come in costume, bring a picnic, and have fun! The event will be held on the Picnic Lawns and in the Venetian Theater. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children. Live Music at North Star: 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Dennis Collins and Mike DiMeo will be performing during dinner hour at North Star restaurant. Collins has recorded with stars such as Sting, David Bowie, Aretha Franklin, Bob Dylan and Celine Dion. DiMeo will be accompanying Collins on the piano. A Celebration of Wildlife and Art at Ward Pound Ridge: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The exhibit features watercolor images and sculptures on display at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation in Cross River. Watershed Wildlife Watercolors features the work of wildlife artist Paul Thiesing and will run through Sept. 3. Admission is free, but parking is $5 with a Park Pass and $10 without the pass.
