Monday, Oct. 8

Schools Closed: Katonah-Lewisboro schools will be closed in observance of Columbus Day.

Tuesday, Oct. 9

Katonah-Lewisboro Board of Education: 8 a.m. The school board will hold a meeting at the district office conference room at Increase Miller Elementary. 186 Waccabuc Road, Goldens Bridge.

Town Board Workshop: 7:30 p.m. The Town Board will hold a workshop meeting at the Lewisboro Town House. 11 Main St., South Salem.

Planning Board Meeting: 7:30 p.m. The Lewisboro Planning Board will meet at the town offices at Orchard Square shopping center, lower level. North Salem Road, Cross River.

Fiction Writing Workshop: 7 p.m.-8:30 p.m. Author Kim Kovach (“A Few Bad Decisions, The Adventures of Kitchawan Kenny”) returns to the Lewisboro Library with creative ways to explore character development, point of view, dialogue and setting to make your fiction writing come alive. Expand your writing skills with the use of challenging and creative in-class writing exercises and homework assignments. Registration is required for this adult program. In-person Voter Registration: 5 p.m.-9 p.m. People who need to register for the upcoming election can do so at the Russell Cyrus House. 779 Route 35, Cross River.

Library Board of Trustees: 7:30 p.m. The Lewisboro Library Board of Trustees will hold a meeting at the library. 15 Main St., South Salem.

Architecture & Community Appearance Review Council (ACARC): 8 p.m.-10 p.m. The Lewisboro Architecture & Community Appearance Review Council will meet at the Town House. 11 Main St., South Salem.

Thursday, Oct. 11

Katonah-Lewisboro Board of Education: 7:30 p.m. The school board will hold a meeting at Katonah Elementary School. 106 Huntville Road, Katonah.
