75th Anniversary-South Salem Fire Department Annual Carnival and Fireman's Parade: 7 to 10 p.m. As the South Salem Fire Department celebrates its 75th year in service, come join all the members at the annual carnival and parade. $25 Wristbands for all night fun, or individual tickets. The South Salem Fire House, 1190 Route 35.

Wednesday, Aug. 7

Lewisboro Adult Seniors Meeting: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Lewisboro Adult Seniors will hold their regular weekly meeting at the South Salem firehouse. Free. The South Salem Fire House, 1190 Route 35.

Mother Goose Story Hour: 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Moms and infants are invited to join librarian Miss. Cathy for Bubbles, Songs & Stories for Newborns - 20 months old. Free. Lewisboro Library, 15 Main St., South Salem.
