The benefit concert and dinner will feature Sing We Enchanted, the multi-talented a cappella vocal ensemble of eight singers (including two Waccabuc residents, Linda Broudy and David Eggers). The ensemble has performed in numerous venues across the tri-state area and is currently in its 22nd year of performances.

Sing We Enchanted performs music of the Renaissance and Baroque eras as well as American repertoire and many varieties of holiday music. The ensemble is committed to performing old and new a cappella musical gems that are typically not widely performed.

Sunday’s varied program is called the “Voice of America: Broadway and Traditional Songs from our Great Land” and will include arrangements of Broadway favorites by Gershwin, Cole Porter, Richard Rodgers as well Appalachian folk music, shape-note melodies and spirituals, popular patriotic arrangements and heartfelt songs of our waterways.

Mead Memorial Chapel is at 2 Chapel Road, Waccabuc.
