The park, named after Carolyn Wright Reis, was established in 1967.
The party will be on Saturday, April 29 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
There will be an array of attractions at the birthday bash, according to the library.
"There will plenty of activities for all: storytelling with Jonathan Kruk, local authors, tour of Wright Reis Homestead & special exhibits, old fashioned games, music concert, a children’s Story Walk, face painting, arts & crafts, and more."
Support for the birthday celebration, the library notes, came from the Somers Historical Society and from a Westchester Library System mini-grant program. Donors to the program, the library added, include Con Edison and Entergy.
