Concert To Benefit Wolf Conservation Center

LEWISBORO – Common Ground Community Concerts presents the 2nd Annual "Howling Wolf Family Folk Festival,” a benefit for the Wolf Conservation Center in Lewisboro, Sunday, Sept. 18, at Irvington Town Hall.

The show will feature Gandalf Murphy and the Slambovian Circus of Dreams, a Hudson Valley-based folk-rock band founded in Sleepy Hollow in 1998.  Playing a unique blend of rock & roll, folk and quirky Americana, GM & SCD has elements of Pink Floyd, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, the Band, Neil Diamond, and Frank Zappa. They have a loyal fan base in the U.S. and U.K. known to travel hundreds of miles for a live concert.  Show time is 7:30 a.m.

Organizers expect this to be a sold-out event and tickets are already on sale and selling fast. Go to www.comongroundfusw.com to buy tickets and for more information. Tickets for this event are not available through the Wolf Conservation Center (WCC) site.

The WCC’s ambassador wolf Atka will be on hand to greet the Conservation Center’s supporters.
