Rye Brook resident Raymond Nethercott, the most senior member of the Port Chester Fire Department's Washington Engine & Hose Co. #4, died on Wednesday, June 26 at the age of 92, according to his obituary. A construction worker was rescued from the sixth floor of a vacant building under demolition in Westchester after suffering an injury and becoming stuck. An all-new store and donation center is about to open in Westchester. The first day of business for the Goodwill store, located next to Walgreens at 1333 West Boston Post Rd. (Route 1) in Larchmont, will be on Tuesday, June 25. The 4,976-square-foot store will offer a selection of used and new women's, men's, and kids' clothing in addition to household wares. Driver Rescued From Rolled-Over Car On I-287 In Harrison
A driver was hospitalized after being rescued from their rolled-over vehicle on a busy highway in Westchester. The rescue happened on Friday, April 26 just before 2 p.m., when a vehicle flipped on its side on Interstate 287 West in Harrison at milepost 6.5, according to the Purchase Fire Department.
