Man Accused Of Firing Shots From Rifle In Westchester Dispute Behind Bars A 38-year-old man accused of firing shots from a rifle during a dispute in Northern Westchester has been apprehended and is behind bars. The incident took place around 9:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 5 at Dogwood Road in Cortlandt, where police responded to a report of shots fired. State Police, Westchester County Police and Peekskill Police officers all responded. An investigation determined that John J. Magner III engaged in a dispute with a party known to him at his residence, and fired two rounds from the Marlin .22 rifle. Magner was charged with first-degree reckless endangerment, third-degree…
